Palm Valley Outdoors Bar and Grill
This place is a little bit out of the path (unless you live in Palm Valley), but worth the trip! It’s on the water and sort of a local spot with great view of the boat traffic on the intracoastal. The place is big with plenty of outside seating even if you would not think so when you arrive. You come to a beaten-up dirt parking with some dents, and you see a wooden shack underneath a big bridge.
The menu has a variety of seafood options along with the typical burger, chicken, pasta options covering one page and another four pages with drinkables. The prices of the food is not in the low categories, most apps around $12-16 and the lunch menu starts at about $13, but wait and read on.
The food was great and the portions were just right! We have been here two times now and both times the food was excellent. We have tried the fish tacos and the shrimp plater and last time we had the lumpy crab cake, oh so good.
We have found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is a selling point of this place. It seems like there was a lot of locals (and travelers) which come by boat. It definitely seems like a popular place.
